Just finished watching the green

Just finished watching the green mile. It wasn’t bad. I found it a tad on the long side personally. Wild Bill was funny as hell and Percy was everything you wanted to hate. Some of the parts were overacted and too much time was spent watching the damn mouse. Overall it was worth seeing, but i still want to see the hurricane by norman jewison at somepoint. To see which one seemed more worthy of an Oscar nomination. Of course we know that green mile got the nomination and there was some controversy over it. Time to get sleep.

Nothing much new and exciting

Nothing much new and exciting these days. Spend the day teaching at computer camp, should probably load up blogger and put some sites down or something when i have some free moments. Not that there are many, those little kids have their hands up all the time. The new design is up at Conform so go check it out if you haven’t seen it allready. That’s about it for now.

Just finished watching Pi. Saw

Just finished watching Pi. Saw something about it a while ago and have wanted to see it. It’s labelled as a thriller and holds up, but doesn’t leave you hanging as badly as Ronin or Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. I’ve always liked math so i found that side of the movie fascinating. It’s kind of obvious why Max is going nuts though. Anyway, i liked the movie and would recommend it to people who don’t feel like watching your standard Hollywood fare.

The tea party was in

The tea party was in town last night, playing the last night of riverfest. Not a bad show. I didnt pay anything to get in, free concerts are always better. Second day of teaching down, it’s not that bad. A lot of bullshitting really, just standing up there and winging it.

Hmm, yesterday was grad. I

Hmm, yesterday was grad. I wore a tux and went to the pre-grad party, did the dinner thing and then went to the post grad. A night of drinking, havent done that in a while. The evening was a lot of fun, i guess the last thing we really do as a grade. Too many beers, every once in awhile i remind myself why i dont drink often. Maybe i needed it. Exam stress, yearbook stress, new job. Who knows. Don’t normally deal with stress by drinking. A well. Going to watch a movie or part of one, then get some sleep.

Ladies and gentlemen, i present

Ladies and gentlemen, i present to you tim hain, one of the greatest human beings i know. Read through some of his journal, he’s quite intelligent. Could probably do just about anything he put his mind to. Quite a selfless individual. Good luck in the future tim.

In my search to find

In my search to find out how to claim the compilation cd i just won out of a coke bottle cap, i came across the site of the canadian version of the univseral page. I must say that it has to be one of the ugliest corporate sites i have ever seen and could probably pull a better one out of my ass. I think they have an 8 year old with clip art making it. Universal is currently owned by Seagrams which is a canadian company. You think they could do a better job.

Saw Gone in Sixty Seconds

Saw Gone in Sixty Seconds tonite. Definitely doesn’t have a complex plot line or anything, but it’s a great high octane, high adrenaline rush. The driving is awesome, supposedly nick cage did his own driving for it. You almost have an orgasm as he has the ’67 mustang over 90mph and then hits the nitro, even loses the helicopter chasing him. Go see it for the cars. Should probably goto bed soon if i want to get up to go do yearbook work. Damn.
